All SLIS programs, except the Doctor of Philosophy, are offered online. Online courses at TWU are highly interactive. Instructors use a course website called Blackboard for posting lectures and reading assignments. Students participate through discussion boards and/or chat rooms and email. Assignments are submitted electronically. Some online courses offer up to three optional face-to-face meetings during the semester (on Saturdays) so that students can meet their professors and other classmates, but these meetings are not required.
