The Travel Assistance Fund enables faculty to defray some of the travel costs associated with presenting at professional conferences and meetings or attending a meeting where they will receive a major award.  In order to fund travel to conferences throughout the year, Research and Sponsored Programs allocates money for fall, spring, and summer assistance (e.g., funding of fall requests will total approximately one-third of the funds available for the program).  A maximum of $600 of expenses will be funded.

Applicants must be full-time faculty of Texas Woman’s University (TWU) with a teaching appointment. Only one trip per person may be funded in a fiscal year.  The application for funds should be received in the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs (Denton) at least two weeks before departure although more time must be allowed for foreign travel requests.
