| Description of research activities: One major focus of Dr. Rich's current research is obesity prevention in pre-kindergarten children and their families, particularly Hispanic families. A second major focus is establishing obesity rates on the TWU campus, determining ethnic differences in BMI and reasons for dieting and exercising, and developing obesity prevention/intervention programs for the university setting and the community at large. | |
