Description of research activities: Current projects include investigations related to the efficacy of early intervention services for children with hearing loss, innovative strategies for professional preparation for deaf educators in early childhood, the decision-making processes of families, and early language development in young children with hearing loss.  Mixed and qualitative methods are preferred.
