| Description of research activities: Dr. Silliman-French's current research focus is on the investigation of pedagogical techniques to improve the physical and motor performance of individual with mental retardation. Currently she is working with a multidisciplinary team on a series of studies to determine the influence of physical activity on the physiological and motor skill development of incarcerated youth and their transitioning back into general physical education in the public schools. | |
