| Description of research activities: Dr. Rios Doddy researches rhetoric and composition issues directly related to pedagogy, such as teachers’ written comments on students’ essays, teacher response in developmental composition programs, the (in)effectiveness of written praise in composition classrooms, and reading and writing strategies that increase comprehension and fluency ESL classrooms. Dr. Rios Doddy has a forthcoming publication in the LOUISIANA ENGLISH JOURNAL. | |
