| Description of research activities: Catherine Candler’s interest is in promoting action research among occupational therapy practitioners, specifically those who practice in public school systems. In addition Dr. Candler is exploring the use of sensory integration theory within counseling for parents of children with sensory integrative dysfunction. Past research interests include play strategies for oral motor development and sign language use in children who are deaf or hard of hearing. | |
