| Description of research activities: My primary research interests include investigating multicultural and diversity issues as they relate to the professional development of pre-service and in-service teachers. A secondary interest is the broader scholarship of teaching and learning and faculty learning communities. I am currently the primary investigator for an interdisciplinary study involving both nursing and teacher education students. All investigators are members of a faculty learning community. We are investigating the perceptions of students’ core curriculum experiences and their preparedness for their upper-level coursework. | |
