| Description of research activities: Dr. Grant's research is a scientific and artistic inquiry into the nature of dreams, memory and the unconscious. This research focuses on gaining access to the visual quality of dream imagery immediately after it occurs in REM sleep. The methodology consists of using dream narrative interviews collected during laboratory REM awakenings as inspiration for a series of large scale artworks that recreate the sensorial experience of dreaming. | |
