| Description of research activities: Dr. Barbour's professional interests lie in researching leaders, leadership and organizations. More specifically, she is looking at the interface between leadership theory and practice, especially in the areas of leader development and assessment and the development and assessment of team leadership. A second area of interest is organizational theory and practice and the leader's role in assessing and building the culture of the organization. One other area includes teaching educational administration and leadership and developing leaders through teaching experiences and field-based experiences including leading in multicultural settings. | |
