Special Accomodations

STUDENTS

If you will need specific accommodations (sign language interpreters, escorts, or accessible seating, etc.) for the ceremony, you may indicate this when you complete your Application for Graduation.  Should you need to update this information, please contact Disability Support Services office at 940-898-3835 or dss@twu.edu at least one week prior to the commencement ceremonies. 

GUESTS

Guests with special needs may identify themselves at the entrance to the arena, and staff will be available to assist with necessary special seating arrangements.

State Mandated Immunization Requirement

Effective January 1, 2012, Texas law requires that all new and transfer college students must receive a vaccination or booster against bacterial meningitis.

Students required to have the vaccination or booster will not be able to register for courses until a valid immunization record or exemption document has been provided to the Office of the Registrar or the Office of Student Records.
