Article VIII

Internal Auditor

The Director of Internal Audits shall be appointed by the Board upon recommendation of the Finance and Audit Committee of the Board of Regents and shall report to the Board through the Finance and Audit Committee. The Director may be dismissed or reassigned without cause subject to the pleasure of the Board. The Director shall meet with the Board's Finance and Audit Committee upon request of the Chair of the Board or the Committee Chair but no less than annually to review audit programs and reports.
