The Quality Enhancement Plan is a 5-year plan designed to enhance student learning. The QEP plan for TWU, Service Learning, has been selected by the campus community.

Learning by doing and applying theory to practice is thought to be crucial for student success in the increasingly interconnected, global world of the 21st century. Our graduates enter a world with challenges of increasing complexity, challenges that more frequently cross national boundaries, requiring enhanced skills in critical thinking and problem solving, a greater awareness and appreciation of multiple perspectives, and collaboration and teamwork with diverse people to achieve common objectives. Service learning is an ideal vehicle for developing these skills.
