All foreign trained therapists must have the equivalent of a four year BS degree in physical therapy to apply to the Post Professional MS/Ph.D. program in Physical Therapy.

1. Where can I get my transcripts evaluated for US equivalency?

If you are coming to TWU but will return to your country after you graduate, you can have your credentials evaluated at the TWU Office of International Education at

However, if you are seeking both a post-professional degree and  licensure in Texas, the only credentialing agency approved by both the university (TWU) and the licensure board is the International Consultants of Delaware (IC). The licensure board will accept IC or ICA (see below).

If your credentials are evaluated as equivalent to a baccalaureate degree,  you can apply to the post-professional program. However, that does not mean that you will be able to be licensed in Texas after 12/02. If you have the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree but are missing key elements as indicated by the licensing board, you may be able to enroll as a non-degree-seeking student and complete the missing elements at TWU.
