Post-professional Ph.D. in Physical Therapy
Graduation Requirements

Anatomy Lab

The program of study for the Ph.D. degree consists of 90 credit hours beyond the baccalaureate degree or usually 60 credit hours beyond the master's degree.

The general plan for this program includes:

6 credit hours for the dissertation

31 credit hours of core course requirements

14 credit hours (minimum) of independent research or individualized study;

9-12 credit hours of approved electives.

All degree plans are approved by the Post-professional Studies Advisory Committee and may in some instances total more than the basic 90 hours, depending on the goals of the particular student.
