Post-professional Masters of Science Program
Graduation Requirements


The program for the Master of Science degree requires the completion of a minimum of 37 credit hours. Degree plans are designed specifically to meet the goals and objectives of each student. 

A degree plan must include a core of 13-21 hours of credit plus approved concentration area courses and elective courses. For core required courses, please click here. 

Splinting LabIf the student chooses the thesis option, 37 credit hours are required. If the professional paper option is chosen, one elective course must be taken for a total of 37 credit hours.

All degree plans are approved by the Post-professional Studies Advisory Committee and may in some instances total more than the basic 37 hours depending on the goals of the particular student.
