Professional Licensure Information (2005-2010)

Our students have consistently done well on the School Psychology Praxis Examination (the professional practice examination required for licensure/certification in most states to practice as a school psychologist) and on the Examination for the Professional Practice of Psychology (EPPP) which is the professional examination required for licensure as a psychologist in most states.  Passing on the School Psychology Praxis Examination is 165 (70%) and passing on the EPPP is 140.  Of recent graduates (n=25), 22 had obtained the credential to practice as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (the practice credential for those practicing in the schools in Texas, regardless of degree level), 3 had obtained the Licensed Psychologist credential, and 11 were dually credentialed as LSSP’s and LP’s.
