The TWU Department of Public Safety is here to keep the campus safe. If stalking occurs on or near campus, campus police can help.

Denton County Friends of the Family offers a wide range of advocacy and counseling service, including, but not limited to, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, help with protective orders and crime victims compensation, children's play therapy, group therapy and  parenting classes.

The City of Denton Police Department can help with emergencies and stalking incidents that occur off campus.

The Denton County District Attorney's Office has a victim's assistance division that can be very helpful.

Online Resources

The National Stalking Resource Center offers a plethora of online materials about stalking. They also offer a crime victim's hotline.

The Stalking Handbook for Victims is available online and includes great information on ways to handle being stalked.
