Applications
The Professional Development office is here to facilitate your observation or practice-based experience placements. The districts have asked that all the TWU placements go through our office to ensure that proper procedures are followed for observations. Students at districts without proper authorization can become a liability for the districts as well as TWU. Please help us honor the district’s request.
The final deadline for submitting requests is the third week of class. It is not recommended that you wait until that deadline because it takes 4-6 weeks to receive a confirmed placement after receipt of completed paperwork. Final deadline for submitting requests:
Fall Semester – September 19
Spring Semester – February 8
If the final deadline date falls on a weekend, the completed paperwork will be due the Friday prior to the deadline date. Students are responsible for meeting the requirements of the instructor’s deadline for submitting paperwork if it presides the final deadline date.
