  • Charitable Donations (e.g. Susan G. Komen, TWU Organizations) See Guidelines for Friends Accounts 
  • Computer Monitors (Except with email of compliance from Office of Technology (ITS) per policy 9.19)
  • Consulting (e.g. accounting, architect, attorney, engineering, etc.)
  • Controlled Substances, Prescription Drugs
  • Desktop Computers  (Except with email of compliance from Office of Technology(ITS) per policy 9.19)
  • Entertainment
  • Furniture (e.g. file cabinets, chairs, desks, etc) See Facilities for standards
  • Gift Cards
  • Hazardous chemicals or materials
  • Insurance of any type
  • iPad (i.e. tablet PC)
  • Laptop Computers
  • Leases or Rentals
  • Memberships
  • Multi-function Office Equipment (Anything information related – e.g. printers, fax, copiers, scanners)  (Except with email of compliance from Office of Technology (ITS) per policy 9.19)
  • Personal Items
  • Postage Stamps
  • Printers  (Except with email of compliance from Office of Technology (ITS) per policy 9.19)
  • Radioactive Materials
  • Software (Except with email of compliance from Office of Technology (ITS) per policy 9.19
  • Telephone Equipment & services (e.g. Blackberry)
  • Temporary Personnel
  • Travel & related expenses
  • Utilities (phone & electric)
  • Weapons, ammunition 

The PCard MUST NOT BE USED for the below items when the single unit value is more than $500:

  • Camcorders
  • Cameras
  • Data projectors
  • DVD players
  • Stereo Systems
  • Televisions
  • VCRs
