TWU School of Physical Therapy Friends Program

The TWU School of Physical Therapy has a Friends Program for persons who wish to support the mission of the School.   Alumni, former faculty, patients who have benefitted from physical therapy, and health and business leaders in the community have always contributed to the success of the School.  The Friends Program allows the School to conduct activities that are not funded by the state.  Recent activities included a reception at the annual meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association where faculty and students networked with leaders of the APTA and Research Days in Houston and Dallas which highlighted presentations by students and keynote addresses by nationally recognized researchers in physical therapy. Other activities supported by the School include student attendance at state and national professional events, as well as faculty support for development in unique areas of study or research.
