A qualified applicant is one who has scores near the average values in three objective areas that address academic performance and potential for being successful in a graduate program: 1) the GPA of the last 60 hours completed, 2) the overall math/science GPA, and 3) GRE scores. A minimum 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours is required for admission into Graduate School at TWU, but due to the competitive nature of the physical therapy applicant pool the more meaningful numbers are the averages from the preceding class of students. For the 2009 incoming class, those average values were as follows:
Last 60 hours GPA:  3.75
Math/Science GPA:  3.67
Verbal + Quant. GRE:  1108
