Each spring, the TWU chapter of Phi Kappa Phi makes available 2-3 scholarships for active student members. Scholarship applications will be posted online in March, at which time they will also be made available in Blackboard. Applicants are expected to complete all requirements as listed on the application in order to be considered for the awards.
Beginning with the 2014-2016 biennium, Phi Kappa Phi’s award and grant programs will reflect new changes that include two new programs, dual cycles and an increased number of available awards. Learn more about these changes below and visit the Awards & Grants page on the Phi Kappa Phi website for additional details about each program.
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi's ongoing commitment to excellence is reflected in its scholarships and awards programs. More than $700,000 is awarded each year to outstanding students, Phi Kappa Phi members and chapters through the Society's various awards competitions: the Fellowship, Phi Kappa Phi Scholar & Artist, Study Abroad Grants, Literacy Grants, and Love of Learning.
Phi Kappa Phi sets high standards for its award recipients. Selection committees comprised of representatives from each of the Society's five regions carefully review all applications. Applicants are evaluated based on numerous factors, including academic recognition and awards, campus and community involvement, leadership experiences, and quality and scope of proposed program.
