The School of OT Under New Leadership

After seven years of dedicated service as Director of the TWU School of OT, Dr. Sally Schultz has stepped down to devote more time to her research and other interests. She has been appointed as coordinator of the OT doctoral program.

Dr. Catherine Candler, Associate Director of the OT program in Dallas, will serve as Interim Director until a new Director is appointed.

*Vision Statement: The curriculum of the School of Occupational Therapy is intended to exemplify quality health related professional education inherent in the mission statement of TWU. Graduates of the program are expected to plan and deliver health and wellness- related occupational therapy services for populations within a variety of settings. In addition, it is our hope that they will assume leadership roles in professional associations, continuing education, and research. It is therefore our mission to provide educational opportunities which will facilitate the development of critical thinking, reflective practitioners, who are able to combine the art and science of practice
