TWU - Student Life - Orientation

Easy Steps To Register For Any Course at Texas Woman's University
- Be sure that an application is on file with the admissions office and that you have been officially admitted.
- Be advised every semester. Freshmen should make an appointment with the Academic Advising Center; all others should see a faculty member in the department of their academic program. New students will be advised during orientation.

Removing Registration Blocks
Students may be prevented (blocked) from registering for a variety of reasons, such as when they have not submitted complete academic records, have not completed required orientation or THEA testing, have not returned books due to the library, have a Financial Aid or disciplinary problem, have unpaid parking fines, or have unpaid balances owed to other units of the University. Students attempting to register will receive information about the registration block through the Pioneer Portal. The system will indicate the reason for the block and the office to contact for assistance. To remove the registration block, contact the appropriate office, resolve the problem, then proceed to register.
