Parent Information

Texas Woman's University welcomes all parents, family members and guests to TWU and to its orientation programs. Having a daughter, son, spouse or friend enter the university is a special occasion, and we highly recommend you attend an orientation program with your student. Your presence will help ensure your student's transition and success here at TWU. The transition to college is often both exciting and challenging. Your student will be provided with many new opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Your support, combined with TWU's services, will help to make your student's experience great.

A special Parent and Family Orientation Program is offered during each Transfer Orientation. This program is designed to help you and your student get off to a strong start at TWU. Parent and Family Orientation includes a series of programs, information sessions, tours and activities to help acquaint you with the TWU faculty, staff and students.
