Financial Aid

Welcome to the Texas Woman's University Financial Aid Office! It is the goal of the Financial Aid Office to eliminate or diminish financial barriers to students seeking an education at Texas Woman's University, and to inform prospective students, parents, and enrolled students of financial aid resources and requirements.

To achieve this goal, the financial aid team is committed to nurturing a customer service environment which benefits students, parents, the university community, and the public in a positive manner. The team develops and maintains mutual respect and credibility by being honest, accurate, and compassionate. Inherent in this process is effective communication, knowledge, training, problem solving, flexibility, promptness, and timeliness.

Over 6,500 Texas Woman's University students receive some form of financial assistance each year. These students are assisted by 15 full-time staff members at the TWU Financial Aid Office in their search for scholarships, grants, employment and student loans. The following list can help you decide on the best way to obtain financial aid information and communicate with the Financial Aid Office.
