Redbud Awards

The Redbud Awards are a long standing tradition at TWU acknowledging and commending TWU student leaders, student organizations, and their advisers for exemplary performance in an academic year. These awards recognize their dedication and emphasize the importance of co-curricular life in the educational process. Nominations and applications are available during the first month of each spring semester. The awards ceremony takes place on the Denton campus during TWU Homecoming events.
Redbud Awards include the following:
• Outstanding Campus Leader;
• Emerging Student Leader;
• Outstanding Student Organization;
• Outstanding New Student Organization;
• Outstanding Faculty/Staff Adviser for a Student Organization; and
• Glenda Brock Simmons Community Service Award.

Redbud nomination forms are due by Friday, February 23 by 5pm.
