Emergency Loans

Student Life offers an emergency loan that is intended as a short term solution to aid students in an unexpected emergency. A student may request up to $350 per semester, and may borrow only once per semester and twice each academic year. Funds are limited, and therefore, are awarded on a need basis as long as funds are available. The student has 30 days to pay back the loan from the date borrowed. Withdrawal

During a student’s career, she or he may need to withdraw from all classes for the semester. Financial aid recipients should first contact the Financial Aid Office before withdrawing to determine any effects on aid. International students should contact the Office of International Education so they can explain how this may affect immigration status.
