Student Parents Also Raising Kids (SPARK)
Purpose of the Organization
The purpose of this Organization shall be to encourage and support the non-traditional student’s integration into Texas Woman's University and to educate members of all available financial, social, and academic outlets offered by the University as well as to facilitate expansion of opportunities that are often available for traditional students. To achieve this purpose, this Organization shall conduct social and scholarly activities as well as develop social literature to further knowledge of available resources. In conjunction with Texas Woman's University we will represent the needs of non-traditional students in order to secure deserved privileges.
Eligibility for Membership
- Be enrolled in at least 6 hours at Texas Woman's University
- Be in good academic standing as judged by the University with no less than a 2.0 GPA
- Submit an application approved by the Non-Traditional Student Organization.
- Be approved by majority vote of current Non-Traditional Student Organization members
