Display cases are located in the Underground and organizations may enter a lottery each semester for an available case. Organizations may only retain a case for one semester at a time, but are eligible to re-enter the lottery at the start of the next semester. Information regarding the lottery is placed in organizational mailboxes at the start of each semester. Contact the Student Union at 898.3641 for more information.
All chartered organizations are eligible to obtain a student organization mailbox. The mailboxes are located on the first floor across from the Center for Student Development. Mailboxes are automatically assigned at the start of each academic year and are updated throughout the year by the Center for Student Development staff.
Organizations may advertise events, meetings, and workshops by hanging a banner. Please contact the Student Union office at 898-3641 for details and policies for banner usage.
There are numerous bulletin boards located throughout the Union for informational purposes. Many of the bulletin boards are assigned to specific departments and organizations. There is a public bulletin board located next to the entrance of the Garden Room on the second floor for usage. However, all postings must be stamped for approval at the Center for Student Development prior to posting. The free speech bulletin board located on the west side of the building does not require approval prior to posting. The free speech bulletin board is cleared of all materials on the first working day of each month.
There are numerous meeting rooms located throughout the Union for student, departmental, and private events. Reservations must be made through the Student Union office, room 209.
Vending space is available for both organizational usage and for off campus vendors. Organizations may use the space on a first come, first serve basis at no cost. Space must be reserved through the Student Union office.
Organizations may submit a request to have information posted on the video bulletin boards by contacting the Student Union in writing with the desired information. Boards are located on the second floor next to Bakers Dozen and in the Underground.
