Transfer Orientation

Transfer Orientation

Friday, July 25, 2008

Transfer Orientation is intended for those students with 13 or more college credit hours who are starting in the fall 2008 semester.

Congratulations on selecting Texas Woman's University for your college experience. Although you have attended a college or university before, we hope you will attend Transfer Student Orientation to acquaint yourself with TWU. Each institution has its own unique and special support services, degree requirements and traditions.

Transfer Orientation, Friday, July 25
At the one-day Transfer Orientation, you will learn about your academic program, financial assistance and meet with an academic adviser. If what you need is to be advised and register for classes, this is the program for you.

Register for Orientation

Once you have been admitted to the University, you will soon receive a TWU orientation brochure. In the brochure you will find a registration form for you to complete and return. If you prefer you can register on-line. You must be accepted to the university before we can reserve your spot at orientation.

If you have any questions or comments about any orientation session, please send comments to orientation@twu.edu or call 940-898-3626.

Bethany

"It is a great idea to attend both freshman and transfer orientation because it helps you get acclimated to the campus and not to mention you meet wonderful people on the way! I was a transfer and wasn't required to attend an orientation, but I did anyway, and it really helped break the ice before I officially came to TWU." - Bethany Heidenreich, Orientation Leader 2007
