Thanksgiving and Picnic Celebration with Global Interact

Another program offered by TWU International Education Office and Global Interact is a taste of Thanksgiving. In conjunction with TWU, Global Interact provides TWU international students an opportunity to celebrate and experience an American Thanksgiving. The program includes a traditional turkey, dressing, an array of vegetables, breads, rolls and desserts. Members of the Global Interact prepare and serve the food for the event and act as host and hostess.

Global Interact last year hosted its annual American Thanksgiving Dinner at TWU. We had over 170 international students from TWU and UNT attend. We also had non-international students and friends come and show support. TWU provided assistance, location, advertisement, and give-away to make the event a success.

Also, every spring semester, Global Interact hosts an American picnic at North Lake Park. International students TWU are invited to come and experience a great day of American picnic at the park.
