TWU Diversity Statement
All human beings are bound together by common experience, yet each human being is unique. Because all individuals possess distinctive characteristics and capabilities, their experiences also differ in many ways. We embrace diversity as we recognize, accept, and appreciate groups other than our own and the human qualities and distinctions that each brings to the reality of everyday life. A rapidly evolving global community makes it not only desirable but necessary that all people and groups be valued equally. Our human commonality makes us aware of life diversities-groups and individual-to work for the common good of human kind.
Diversity Statement adopted by the Access and Equity 2000 Committee, September 1994
