What is it?
The Pioneer ID Card is your student identification card and MORE! In addition to being an ID, library card and meal card, it offers you a convenient and safe way to make purchases and utilize campus services.

With your Pioneer ID Card, you don't have to worry about carrying cash on campus. As long as you have a balance in your account, you'll enjoy convenient purchasing power without carrying cash at many locations on campus.

It is safe!
The Pioneer ID Card is safer than carrying cash. Funds deposited into your personal accounts may be used only by you. This program is available to all TWU students, faculty, staff and affiliates and is separate from TWU's Meal Plan Program.
It is easy to use!
Simply present your Pioneer ID Card and your purchase will be automatically subtracted from your account. At all locations your remaining balance will be displayed after each transaction so you will know how much is in your account.

How easy is it to get the debit account?
The Pioneer ID Card comes ready to use, preprogrammed with basic services, and then enhanced based on your needs. To begin using the a Pioneer Debit Account make an initial deposit (no minimum required) at the ID Card Center located in Jones Hall, 3rd floor (P.O. Box 425380, Denton, Texas, 76204, 940.898.3565).
During the semester, you may fund the Pioneer Account by calling the Cashier's office and charging additional deposits for the Pioneer Card to your Visa or MasterCard. You may also make additional deposits by making cash or check payments at the Cashier's office of ID office.
Will I lose any deposit? What about refunds?
Your deposits stay in your debit account and are transferred over from year-to-year. Refunds: your debit account may be closed by using up all your funds or upon receipt of documentation that you are leaving the University. Refunds will not be issued under any other circumstances. |
