Paint Room
The Center for Student Development (CSD) has a paint room available for chartered organizations to use to paint signs and banners. The paint and banner paper (provided by the House of Representatives) are free of charge. Come by the CSD, leave your ID with the front desk, and the paint room will be unlocked for you. This room is available to chartered organizations Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Organizations are allowed one free banner per event, per day.

Guidelines for the Paint Room

• Only chartered student organizations, faculty and staff may use the art room.
• Anyone wishing to use the paint room must sign in and leave his/her TWU ID card for the duration of use.
• Chartered student organizations are allowed one 6' piece of butcher paper per organization per event per day free of charge. (Extra butcher paper can be purchased at a rate of $0.25 per foot.)
• Use of spray paint is prohibited.
• Individuals who use the paint room are responsible for cleaning the paint room before leaving. If the paint room is not cleaned, the individual and the organization which the individual represents will be suspended from use of the paint room for no less than one month.
  

Organization Mail Boxes
One of the many benefits of being a chartered organization is having an organization mail box for your group in the Student Center. This allows others to leave information of interest for you and also allows you a place to leave messages with your members. Once you have become a chartered organization, you are automatically assigned a box. It is your responsibility to check your box on a regular basis.

Graphic Designer
The Division of Student Life has a graphic designer here for you. This person can offer her talents in making flyers, buttons, posters, etc. There is a minimal cost involved, but the results are worth it. The Graphics Office number is 940.898.3868.

Sound System
A sound system is available to chartered organizations at no cost. It has a cd player, a tape player, and one mic available. Its speaker is very powerful and works well indoors and out. You can reserve a sound system by coming to the Center for Student Development in the Student Center 1st floor or the Student Center Office and filling out the paperwork. Note: The small sound system may NOT be checked out overnight without prior approval from either the CSD Director, Assistant Director, or Secretary.

Cotton Candy and Popcorn Machine
These two machines are available for a daily rental to chartered student organizations for $10 each. This minimal fee covers the use of the machine and supplies. You can reserve them by coming to the Center for Student Development located in the Student Center 1st floor and filling out the paperwork.

Snow Cone Machine
A snow cone machine is available for a daily rental to chartered student organizations for $25. This minimal fee covers the use of the machine and supplies. You can reserve the snow cone machine by coming to the Student Center Office Room 209 and filling out the paperwork.
