Information for Parents
Your student has set out for new experiences and adventures by choosing to attend TWU. She will have many opportunities to become a part of campus life and we encourage her to look into the possibility of joining our TWU Greek community.
How will my daughter benefit from joining a sorority?
Greek Life has a long history on the TWU campus and, through the years, these organizations have rooted themselves in principles that foster academic achievement, student development and involvement, community service and lifelong friendships. Other advantages include:
- A support group to help make the adjustment to college easier.
- Scholastic resources to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Leadership skills acquired through hands-on experience.
- Encouragement to get involved and maximize their potential on campus.
- Opportunities for active participation in community service projects.
- Career networking opportunities.
If you have any questions about our sororities or the process please contact the TWU Greek Life advisor, Uyen Tran at 940-898-3626 or ptran@twu.edu.
