Greek Life Mission Statement

The purpose of the Office of Greek Life at Texas Woman's University (TWU) is to enhance student development through involvement in Greek organizations while complementing the mission of the University. We strive to foster positive relations with the administration, faculty, and between the various organizations to encourage a unified campus community. To accomplish this mission, we include the following goals:

• Promote positive educational outcomes.
• Promote student involvement in co-curricular activities.
• Provide educational training and leadership opportunities for these student leaders.
• Promote sponsorship and participation in community service projects.
• Promote an appreciation for different lifestyles and cultural heritages.
• Recognize the positive cultural traditions on a diversity of Greek organizations.
• Promote the intellectual, recreational, social and citizenship development of our student.
