Departmental Organizations

  • G-Force
    Purpose: To raise awareness among students and their families about the benefits of higher education.
  • Multicultural Student Network
    Purpose: To heighten diversity/cultural awareness and sensitivity within the community.

Special Interest Organizations

  • Anointed Voices for Christ Gospel Choir
    Purpose: To provide the TWU community with a positive Christian outlet through bible study and music.
  • Genesys Dance Team
    Purpose: Dedicated to exploring various genres of dance by educating, entertaining and promoting diversity to the community through performance.
  • Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Advancement
    Purpose: To promote leadership and advancement among TWU students and community; to promote higher education; to offer support and social interaction for all students in order to preserve and promote the Hispanic culture.
  • Indian-Pakistani Student Association
    Purpose: Indo/Pakistani organization seeking to better the community by learning our culture as well as other cultures.
  • League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)
    Purpose: To promote civil rights, better education, and awareness of Hispanic issues in higher education.
  • Multicultural African Organization
    Purpose: To provide a forum for sharing the unique African cultural heritage, to promote love, understanding, peace, unity and a home for all African students.
  • National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
    Purpose: To serve as a socially conscious organization to ensure equal civil rights and democracy for people of color.
  • Native Pride
    Purpose: To provide a supportive and enjoyable means for the university community to increase awareness of Native American cultures and to celebrate and honor their diversity.
  • Palestine Media Watch
    Purpose: To educate students about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
  • PRIDE
    Purpose: To provide a sense of community, awareness, and support to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and straight students on campus.
  • Progressive Black Student Organization
    Purpose: To increase social awareness, promote unity through positive programs and provide an organization for the growing TWU population.
  • Spanish Circle
    Purpose: To promote and propagate the study and understanding of the Spanish language and culture.
  • Voices of Jesus
  • Young Ladies Anointed & Chosen for Distinction, Inc.
    Purpose: To provide support for Christian females.

Professional Affiliation

  • Bilingual Education Student Organization
    Purpose: To promote the content, the procedure, and the philosophy of bilingual-bicultural education at TWU and the Denton area.
  • National Association of Black Accountants
    Purpose: To bridge the gap between collegiate businessmen and women and the professional world.
