 Deidre has over 20 years of experience in Higher Education
 working in areas of marketing, recruitment, student life and
 career services. Deidre’s Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
 and Public Administration was received from The University of
 Texas at Dallas. Her MBA in Strategic Leadership was completed

 at Amber University.

Sherri has worked in the Career Services Office over 10 years beginning as a Counseling Intern.  She currently holds the position of Assistant Director and prior to becoming the Assistant Director, she was the Career Counselor for the office.  Sherri is a graduate of TWU, obtaining her Master’s of Counseling and Development in May of 1997.

 Elizabeth has a background in Human Resources Administration,
 with over five years of experience in the private and public
 sector.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation
 Services from Stephen F. Austin State University. 

 

 

 

 

"It’s not enough to have just a degree anymore; students must develop
 transferable skills that will make them more marketable upon graduation. Employers are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to work well with others.  Working while in school, for even a few hours a week, can help students develop these valuable skills.”

Bethany received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. She then pursued her Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University where she interned at their Counseling & Career Services. She enjoys assisting students in choosing a major and career path and is excited to provide career counseling for TWU’s Career Services.

 

“Career Counseling is a great way for students to learn about their interests, values, and personality and how it all fits into the right major and career path. I love to see students making positive career decisions while aiding them in the process, and TWU has some excellent resources to help them step by step.”

Naomi received her Bachelor of Arts from Sam Houston State University. Since graduating, she has worked in higher education
as a secretary and as a computer trainer. Using her organizational and technical skills, Naomi now enjoys communicating with employers as the Employer Relations Specialist for the TWU Career Services Office.

Sue has worked in the areas of social services and education for over 18 years with an emphasis in employment and educational services for special populations. Sue has developed several programs relating to internships and mentoring in past organizations. Sue received her B .A. in Psychology with a Certificate in Family Studies from the University of Missouri and her M.S. in Rehabilitation Administration from Drake University.
