KIMBELL ART MUSEUM
“While obtaining by BFA, this
internship afforded me a very valuable opportunity. I feel luck y to work with
the people here at the Kimbell Art Museum and the knowledge provided through
this experience. This position helps me better understand the exhibitions and
behind-the-scenes of the Museum. The whole experience has given me a step above
other students in application to a Master’s program.”

lot because it has helped me learn what I do and do not want to do [with my

advantage.”

“ VERY different from a
regular college job. I feel like I’m learning different aspects of business and
what clients want. It is important to know how to create brochures and produce
art as well as market the materials. I feel I’ll be that much further ahead of
others with my same degree. Thankful for the experience!”

"As college students, it is so easy to get caught up in the idea of just
finishing school; however, more attention should center on preparing for life
after graduation. Internship/cooperative education programs do just that: they
enable students to use the skills they’ve learned in the classrooms to impact
life outside the classroom. TWU Career Services is dedicated to helping
students realize their full potential. I implore students to pave a way for
their futures through cooperative education."

"An effective method to transition into the next phase of life is by trial. Be
getting to know the real world working environment, I have realized what I want
in a career and how I am going to achieve it. Working for Cadbury-Schwepps
Corporate has opened many opportunities for me in the corporate world. The
skills that I have gained from this program have helped me build a solid
foundation needed for
that next transition."

"The experience that
I have gained has been extraordinary. My internship has allowed me to grow as
an individual and to appreciate the education that I have received. Working
with children that have disabilities and understanding the issues that they
endure on a daily
basis has strengthened my vision of
becoming an Occupational
Therapist. This experience has allowed me to
grow as a person and has given me
positive direction in life."

"I had the opportunity to intern abroad during the summer. It
was most definitely a unique experience. Not only was I able to apply what I
have learned at TWU, but I gained a broader vision
in marketing. I also met so
many wonderful people that
I will never forget."
