| Strong Interest
Inventory (SII): |
The SII generates an in-depth assessment of your
interests among a broad range of occupations, work and leisure activities, and
educational subjects. It is taken online in about 30-40 minutes, and the results
are sent to your career counselor. The results are expressed in a detailed
graphic format that explores a three letter summary code along with different
scales and occupations. Your counselor will interpret the results for you and
you will be shown how to do further occupational research based on your SII
results.
| Myers Briggs Type
Indicator (MBTI): |
The MBTI is also available and your counselor may suggest
that you take the MBTI in addition to the SDS. The MBTI helps you understand your strengths and weaknesses and the type of work setting you would like based on your personality type.
