The TWU Nutrition and Food Sciences offers an MS in Food Science and an MS in Food Systems Administration. Both of these programs are currently going through program changes. Both programs are on hold at this time. If you are interested in a graduate program in the Nutrition and Food Sciences profession, we encourage you to consider our MS in Nutrition, Online MS in Nutrition, or MS in Exercise and Sports Nutrition.
MS in Food Science
TWU graduate students who seek an MS in Food Science take NFS 5003 (Food Chemistry) plus other graduate courses in nutrition and food sciences. The MS Food Science degree prepares students to work in management or research positions within the food industry.
NOTE: Students in the Master of Science coursework only option programs in Nutrition, Food Systems Administration, and Food Science admitted before fall semester 2014 may choose to take the exit exam or complete the capstone seminar course for degree completion. Students admitted for or after fall semester 2014 must complete the capstone seminar course for degree completion.
