TWU Nursing Student Faculty and students at TWU College of Nursing are actively engaged in many research project focused on evidence-based clinical care in a variety of settings. The TWU College of Nursing has collaborative research and practice partnerships with more than 100 hospitals and health care service entities throughout the state of Texas and beyond. Focus of research activities include:

  • Health Systems and Quality Patient Outcomes
  • Strategies for Educating Nurses

Research News

Twenty-eight TWU CON faculty members and doctoral students were accepted for twenty-two presentations at the 18th Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Research Congress Focusing on Evidence-Based Practice in Vienna, Austria on July 11-14, 2007.  Topics included many aspects of clinical care, nursing entrepreneurship, and nursing education.
