RN to MS Program

Betty Henderson, Program Coordinator

The Texas Woman's University College of Nursing offered registered nurses an opportunity to enroll in a program leading to a master of science degree with a major in nursing. Students accepted into this program can complete their baccalaureate degree at the end of one year of full time study with 10-13 credit hours (3-4 courses) toward the masters degree. Depending on the masters specialty chosen, the masters  degree can be completed within another 18 months of full-time study. Students  may, of course, also elect to complete the program on a part-time basis. Students  in this program are admitted provisionally to the masters program and are subject to policies of the CON masters program and Graduate School at Texas Woman's University.
