TWU named National Outdoor Champion among D1 universities

Texas Woman's University beat out 98 other universities across the nation and claimed the title of National Outdoor Champion!

TWU alumna Roxanne Vogel has taken mountain climbing to new heights. 

An experienced mountaineer who’s climbed the tallest mountains on nearly all the continents, Vogel set a unique goal for herself to become the first person to scale Mt. Everest – going up from sea level, to the top of the world and back down – in a record-making two weeks. By comparison, the average climber takes two months to climb the world’s tallest peak.

TWU receives $736K grant to support student parents

Texas Woman’s University has been awarded a $736,848 multi-year grant to bolster college attendance and success rates for TWU’s student parents.

TWU Houston Center to host open house Nov. 2, 2019

Texas Woman’s University will host an open house for prospective first-year and transfer students from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Nov. 2, at the university’s Institute of Health Sciences-Houston Center, located in the Texas Medical Center at 6700 Fannin Street.
