Professor Winter has served as horn instructor in school districts throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex  as well as the University of North Texas where she serves as a teaching fellow.  She also was associate director of bands at Lakeview Middle School in The Colony, Texas. Professor Winter has performed with numerous ensembles including the Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra, Irving Symphony Orchestra, Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Plano Symphony Orchestra.
