Four music students earn scholarships

Jan. 16, 2024 – DENTON – Four students from the Texas Woman's University Music Division earned a total of $10,000 in scholarships from the Texas Music Educators Association.

All four students are studying music education, and each earned a $2,500 student teaching scholarship.

Kaitlyn Candler earned a bachelor's degree from TWU and is a TWU master's student and director of University Chorus. Sean Gist is currently doing student teaching, and Lizzie Harris and Sam Jennings will be doing student teaching in Fall 2024.
