Meredith Morris serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Vocal Studies area. She holds a B. M. in Music Theory and Composition, from Dallas Baptist University, where she studied voice with Dr. Caia McCullar.
During the 2011-12 school year, she taught private voice in Waco, TX at Midway Middle School and in the local community. She has performed as a soloist with the Rockwall Symphony, Dallas Baptist University Chorale, and the CAMP-of-the-WOODS orchestra in upstate New York, singing such roles as Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man, Carlotta in Yeston and Kopit’s Phantom, and Zita in Gianni Schicchi.
Ms. Morris is also a composer whose music includes performances by the Dallas Baptist University Chorale, The Singing Men of West Texas, Midway Middle School’s Varsity Treble Chorus, and baritone LaMarcus Miller.
