Katrin Meidell, violist, graduated magna cum laude from Boston University, where she studied violin and viola with Dana Mazurkevich and Michelle LaCourse. In addition to her musical studies at Boston University, she also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Dr. Meidell studied with and served as teaching assistant to violist Carol Rodland at the New England Conservatory of Music, where she graduated with academic honors. At the University of North Texas, she studied viola performance with Dr. Susan Dubois and music and medicine with Dr. Kris Chesky. Dr. Meidell is in high demand as a private violin and viola instructor and she regularly performs orchestral and chamber concerts throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
